Question by aMIT: AIDS: I had unprotected sex on 28.10.2009?

I had unprotected sex with an office colleague on 28.10.2009 and I want to go for blood test regarding HIV Virus and make sure that I do not have aids. What do you suggest when can I go for blood test to make sure that HIV virus is not in my body and I do not have AIDS. Somebody told me that it takes 6 months to know whether you have AIDS, is it true? I am currently having sleepless nights and I want to confirm asap.....please help

Additional Details
I am not sure that She had AIDS but I am sure that she slept with a number of guys and there are chances that she may have AIDS

go for the test, no one on here knows whether u have aids or not, stop posting stupid questions. don't sleep with her again, slag!
